Biography
Mentor: Munir Tanas, MD
Comprehensive Exam:
Combined Inhibition of AKT/mTORC1 and TEAD in PI3K-driven Sarcomas
My Research:
After coming to the University of Iowa, I became interested in cancer research and joined the Tanas Lab. I am currently studying how the TAZ transcriptional program promotes metastasis in sarcomas. I am also following up on our lab’s previous research to understand the role of PI3K-Akt and Hippo signaling in sarcomagenesis.
