Determining oncogenic role of SETDB1 H3K9 methyltransferase in endometrial cancer tumor progression
My Research:
Endometrial cancer is considered the most common gynecological malignancy in the U.S. My research is focused on understanding mechanisms promoting endometrial cancer tumor progression. My study involves both focusing on tumor immune system interaction and intrinsic aspects of the cancer cells growth. With this, I hope to develop new targeted therapies to improve treatment outcomes of the disease in patients.
